Did the bike this morning, I was in the mood for a little cross training. It wasn't as intense, I suppose that should have been expected, but still I didn't feel like I has done anything - just more tired later.
After the bike though we did lift, arms and upper body - I can't wait to feel that catch up with me in the form of that familiar muscle soreness!

On the Track

Well, Saturday we finally got all 4 of us girls to the track.  Ally ran a mile in 7 minutes, we were all very proud of her.  She just started running and didn't stop - it was great!  Les, Mom and I sufficiently pushed each other :)
After our runs and walks we all did squats for a few laps around the track, only Ally and Lesley were sore the next day.  The weather has been tempting us, just barely being warm enough to go outside - but unfortunately at the wrong times of the day for us.  It's still like 30 deg at 5am.  Soon, meanwhile happy running!

Spring

Well, I seem to be all healed from my strange tendon strain.  I also had to contend with an overwhelming desire to rest/sleep/etc.  So here I am, I worked out twice last week, but I don't feel like they were the quality work outs that I am striving for. 
Luckily spring is also here!  So, I was able to take 3 walks last week before the weather turned cold again.  The weather may be nice enough to start running outside now, I'll make sure that all the snow melts today from the weekend though before making my final judgement!
